Our doctors and staff members are committed to providing the highest level of quality patient care through the use of the latest precision equipment, modern treatment procedures, and uncompromising integrity in healthcare ethics. We strive to offer a personalized, informed, and comprehensive eye care experience in a friendly and welcoming environment.

 

Our Speciality

We are a full scope family optometry practice that prides itself on compassionate care to patients of all ages. We specialize in pediatric eye exams (ages 3-5), comprehensive eye exams, urgent care/eye infections, specialty soft/hard/hybrid custom contact lens exams, custom Ortho-Keratology lens designs, and evaluations for LASIK, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Age-related Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic Retinopathy.

 

Our Doctors


Dr. Julie Oh

Dr. Oh received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. She also attended New York University’s study abroad program in Paris where she delved into 20th century French art history. She continued onto her doctorate studies at UC Berkeley, School of Optometry where she graduated with Clinical Honors.

Dr. Oh trained at Fresno Veterans Hospital, Oakland’s La Clinica Del La Raza, San Diego State University Health Center, Dr. Claude Valenti’s Vision Development Center and the Lion’s Club, San Diego. She practices full scope optometry and is a certified fitter of Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) and MiSight myopia control contact lenses.

Dr. Oh volunteered in Thailand soon after the Tsunami in 2006 where she provided eye examinations and ocular medical attention to those displaced and in need. She also participates in school career days where she encourages youths to consider a career in healthcare.

Dr. Oh was born in Los Angeles and raised in Burbank. She has two young children, Ronan and Iris, and enjoys playing tennis, skiing, cooking, and attending concerts.

Dr. Henry Duong

Dr. Duong was born and raised locally in San Gabriel Valley. He attended the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a B.A. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley, School of Optometry. Dr. Duong has extensive experience in the management and treatment of red eye infections and eye diseases coming from years in specialty ophthalmology practice.  Dr. Duong is fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and Vietnamese.

Dr. Duong’s training includes internships at the Los Angeles VA, Casa Grande VA in Arizona, Roseville Kaiser, and Marin County Community Clinics, where he gained comprehensive experience to further hone his skills in managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Giving back is important to Dr. Duong, as he volunteered in Nicaragua, providing no cost eye examinations and glasses, for those in need. He also participates in local health fairs for under-served communities.

In Dr. Duong’s free time, he enjoys traveling the world and eating at new local restaurants.

Dr. Jane Kim

Dr. Kim grew up in Atlanta, Ga and completed her undergraduate studies at Berry College earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She took a gap year and taught English in Korea. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA.

Dr. Kim’s clinical training includes internships at VA Loma Linda Hospital, VA Outpatient Clinic in Downtown Los Angeles, and the University Eye Centers in Anaheim and Los Angeles.  She is a certified fitter of Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy and Orthokeratology as well as Synergeyes Hybrid lenses. For the last 10 years, Dr. Kim has been involved with the nonprofit organization Young & Healthy providing no cost exams for uninsured and underinsured youth in the Pasadena area.

When she’s not in the office, she and her husband like to eat, hike and go to concerts.  She is also a busy dance mom of two.

Dr. Juliet Tsai

Dr. Tsai, founder of Premier Vision Optometry, was born in Los Angeles and raised in San Gabriel Valley. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology and a secondary specialization in Business Administration. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley, School of Optometry, where she graduated with clinical honors. Dr. Tsai practices full scope optometry and is skillfully trained in custom contact lens design and fittings, management and treatment of red eye infections and eye diseases, cataract evaluation/co-management and LASIK evaluation/co-management.  She speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and Spanish.

Dr. Tsai’s training includes completing challenging internships at Vandenberg Air Force Base, New Mexico Veterans Affairs Hospital, and Pacific Islands Health Care System where she gained valuable experience in the management of glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Tsai has also actively been involved in several clinical trials for the investigation of new treatment options for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She is a certified fitter of Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) and Orthokeratology (Ortho-K).

In her free time, Dr. Tsai enjoys traveling around the world with her husband. She is also an avid snowboarder and foodie.

Rosie Ramirez

Rosie is a knowledgeable and friendly optician and ophthalmic technician with over 15 years of eyewear experience. Her great personality and her expertise will help you to select the perfect frame for your face shape and for your needs. Rosie is fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
